By engaging with Fairfield Counseling Center services, you agree to be bound by the following terms:


Participation and Cancellation


Participation in Fairfield Counseling Center services is on a voluntary basis. You may discontinue participation at any time. We ask that you notify us if you no longer wish to be included on our mailing or SMS messaging lists.


Waiver of Liability

  1. By participating in Fairfield Counseling Center services, including but not limited to sessions, visits, events, conferences, and trainings, you acknowledge these activities may have certain risks and you agree to accept those risks. This includes risks resulting from the possible negligence of Fairfield Counseling Center staff and volunteers.
  2. You acknowledge that you are voluntarily participating in Fairfield Counseling Center activities with full knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of any risks involved. You agree to assume responsibility for your participation.
  3. Fairfield Counseling Center is not responsible for any damages to your property while attending Fairfield Counseling Center activities or being on Fairfield Counseling Center premises.
  4. You agree that Fairfield Counseling Center is not liable for any issues resulting from following or not following any Fairfield Counseling Center guidance.
  5. Parents or guardians are responsible for monitoring minors attending Fairfield Counseling Center services, activities, and events. Fairfield Counseling Center does not provide childcare unless explicitly stated for a specific event. Parents/guardians assume full responsibility for any unsupervised minors.


Intellectual Property


Fairfield Counseling Center owns copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property related to its services and events. You may not distribute this intellectual property without Fairfield Counseling Center's explicit approval.


Opting-In to Service Messages


We offer text reminders and marketing messages as part of our services. You may opt-in to receive these messages. By opting-in, you agree to receive text messages sent through an automatic telephone dialing system in accordance with our Application-to-Person (A2P) messaging best practices. You understand that consent to these terms is not a required condition of participation or involvement with Fairfield Counseling Center.


Changes to Terms


Fairfield Counseling Center may amend these Terms of Service at any time. By continuing to attend Fairfield Counseling Center events and services, you accept any changes.
