Fees & Payment
At Fairfield Counseling Center, we believe in clear, transparent pricing so you can focus fully on your healing journey. Below you will find detailed information regarding our session rates, accepted payment methods, discounts, and financial policies.
Counseling Rates
Individual Counseling
- Fully Licensed Counselor (LPC, LMFT, LCSW): $140 / 50-minute session
- LPC-Associate / Supervised Associate: $110 / 50-minute session
- Counseling Intern (Graduate Student): $60 / 50-minute session
Couples & Family Counseling
- Fully Licensed Counselor: $160 / 50-minute session
- Associate Counselor: $130 / 50-minute session
Insurance, HSA/FSA & Superbills
Out-of-Network & Insurance Policy
Fairfield Counseling Center is an out-of-network provider. We do not bill insurance companies directly. This allows us to protect your privacy, avoid diagnostic labeling required by insurance companies, and provide personalized care tailored specifically to your needs.
Superbills for Reimbursement
If you have out-of-network benefits, we are happy to provide you with a monthly Superbill (an itemized receipt of services). You may submit this Superbill directly to your insurance company for potential partial reimbursement, depending on your plan's benefits.
Discounts & Financial Assistance
We are committed to making counseling accessible to our community. We offer several reduced-rate options and discounts:
- Fairfield Baptist Church Members: Discounted rates are available for members and active attendees of Fairfield Baptist Church. Please inquire with our intake team.
- Foster & Adoptive Families: Special reduced rates are available for foster and adoptive families.
- Ministry & Missionary Discount: Reduced rates are available for active pastors, full-time ministry staff, and missionaries.
- Scholarships & Sliding Scale: A limited number of need-based partial scholarships and sliding-scale fee slots are available depending on financial situation and counselor availability. Please ask during your initial consultation.
Payment Policies & Processing
Card-on-File Policy
To streamline your care and reserve your appointment slot, all clients are required to keep an active debit, credit, or HSA/FSA card on file in our secure, HIPAA-compliant system.
Timing of Payment Processing
Payment is automatically processed on the day of your scheduled session (or immediately following your appointment).
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
We respect your time and reserve your counselor's schedule specifically for you.
- Cancellation Notice: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.
- Late Cancellation / No-Show Fee: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or appointments missed without notice, will be charged the full session fee $160 / full rate] to the card on file.
